I started visiting Dr Whalen five years ago. Hands down the best dentist I have ever had. He's efficient, very knowledgeable and he does it all! I had a 20+ year bridge which was failing. He replaced it with an implant and two adjoining crowns. He has a CEREC machine which makes porcelain crowns immediately. No temporary crowns. The implant was done in February and June all three crowns were made and cemented in in one visit! He's also done some other dental work for me that I'm impressed with. Dr Whalen has a genuineness about him. You can't help but like the guy! Debbie, dental hygienist! I have never had a better cleaning. She takes her time and makes sure my teeth are squeaky clean. She's given me many hints and tips which I follow. Can't forget Dr Whalen's staff! Everyone is very friendly and they make you feel welcomed and cared for. You are not kept waiting, in the spa-like waiting room, past your appointment time. Dental Design Center...no wonder you're always voted one of the top dentist's in Hudson Valley Magazine year after year!

Dental Design Studio is the most professional ad high tech dental office I've ever been to. Expensive but you get what you pay for. Skill, latest technology, professionalism and friendly environment. Great office!

I opted to come to Dr. Whalen as a result of a negative experience I had with another local dentist and found that he, along with his dental technician Jen, provided the most thorough and professional teeth cleaning/dental exam I've ever had. I was very impressed with the services they provided as well as with their eagerness to listen and understand any concerns I may have had. I will definitely recommend Dental Design to anyone who asks me for a local dentist.

Dr Whalen and his team are the best dentistry office in the northeast! My husband and I travel from Pennsylvania for all our dental care. We started visiting Dr Whalen many years ago, when my dentist phobia had caused me to avoid dental treatment. His team worked to gain my confidence and gently treat my issues. Deb provides a thorough cleaning, providing guidance to improve my brush/floss/water pick routine - including areas to focus on. When I do need fillings or crowns, Dr Whalen goes slowly to ensure I’m comfortable and at ease - crowns are done on site, so no delay or 2nd appointment needed. I did need a root canal once, his office went above and beyond to find a endodontist who could support a ‘special’ patient like myself. Wonderful office, their caring and compassion make them the best!
