Bridges

A dental bridge is a custom-made series of teeth that is are placed permanently between two or more healthy teeth. The bridge fills the area left by the missing tooth. The bridge is held in place by porcelain crowns that are placed on the healthy teeth on either side of the space. Bridges reduce the risk of gum disease, help stabilize some bite problems, prevent teeth from moving and help improve speech. They can also improve appearance by preventing the “sunken-in” look of the face when teeth are missing.
