Christin grew up in Hyde Park, New York. She and her husband Mike continue to reside there and have 2 children Nick and Jake. Christin’s journey in the dental field began in 1994 after Dr. Whalen graduated dental school and was practicing with his father in Hyde Park. She worked in the front office for three years then took hiatus from dental to start her family in 1997. Christin was grateful to have worked from home as a legal assistant for 12 years and prioritized being a parent. Christin is very proud of her two son’s and the young men they have become, Nick now 25 years old and Jake 22. She re-entered the dental field in 2009, took a short break, and has now been back for 3 years.
Seeing the many changes throughout the years and how technology has grown, it’s nice to be in an office that utilizes the utmost latest in technology, she says. The results seen and the smiles on patient’s faces is extremely rewarding to me. I really do love my job and enjoy being back! Seeing patient’s still coming into the office to see Dr. Whalen from the Hyde Park era really warms my heart. Meeting and greeting current patients, as well as new patients on a daily basis and putting them at ease... makes it great day!
